i-Sails One Design Sails

We develop one design sail concepts through close working relationships with high level sailors, clubs or fleets worldwide.

We engage the best independent sail designers worldwide to turn the concept into a prototype or prototypes, that we further refine with the sailing community thru on-water trials.

When the prototype is perfected, we launch production at a highly automated ultra modern factory in Asia, that uses ethical labor practices.

We then market the finished sails through the internet.

With that process we are able to develop highly designed, top quality racing and training sails at very reasonable prices. See on the left the sails that are already designed or at prototype stage.

Our one-design sails are divided in 2 ranges:

    • "Performance Series" sails are focused on maximum performance, without concessions.
    • "Training series" sails use similar cuts, but are designed with more durable cloth, and sturdier finishes aiming at a balance between performance and durability.

Beyond the programs already under way, we are looking for interested racers or fleets to work with us in developing sails for Optimist, 470, Fist Class8, J24, Mumm and others.....

On-water development partners need to race or coach at national level, have a solid technical understanding of how sails work, and an analytical mindset, with the ability to communicate clearly design changes required.

i-Sails reserve special benefits for our new sail program development contributors, contact us if you want to know more: NewSails@i-Sails.com
